We at Rayz Boardshop live in Smithers because of the lifestyle.  We hold an Annual Rail Jam, Snow and Skate Comp, Jr Snowboard Camps and more.

So you know planet earth right? Find North America... Got it? Good. Now the great white north, Canada. Head on over to the beautiful west coast aka: British Columbia. Nestled in the North Coast Interior is a quaint little mountain town called Smithers. Smithers wallows in lush green summers filled with fishing, camping, biking, skating, hiking etc. The winters in Smithers are picturesque and perfectly white, ideal for all the winter activities the area offers.

Rayz Board Shop was started in ’96 by Ray and his mom. Since then Greg owned owned the store and has since passed it on to Jason. Rayz is located at 3752 Broadway Ave (Broadway runs perpendicular to Railway Ave and the store is between Main and King St). If you’re lost just look for our signs pointing you in the right direction.

Rayz is the original place for skateboards and skate paraphernalia in Smithers. The store has grown from 600 sq ft to double sided 2600 sq ft (including mini ramp). In 2005 , The Other Half was added for the ladies out there wanting to look good while they’re out there rippin. Rayz continues to support many community projects such as the local skate park, Rayz Freestyle Park on Ski & Ride Smithers, and the Rayz Rail Jam to name a few.
